It is not possible for all employees, partners, and agencies to meet in a classroom regularly or with the same mentor. Whilst this might be ideal for a consistent and high standard of training and delivery, with more 4,000 partners across 150 countries, it is not feasible for CommScope.


Developing and always evolving the CommScope Infrastructure Academy has been instrumental in the success of CommScope’s training and delivery.

The online training platform and comprehensive suite of training and courses have enabled the firm to reach a broader audience and service partners who otherwise wouldn’t have been able to take advantage of training.

CommScope’s training programme started as an online shop, where instructor-led classroom courses could be advertised and sold online.

In 2005, this then transitioned into the first self-paced online learning delivered via the platform, based on Adobe Flash technology allowing the students to play and navigate training at a time to suit them.

Over the next 10 years, further features were developed and delivered, with dynamic translation and online training materials launched in 2014.

Now, the CommScope Infrastructure Academy has interactive learning, and advanced graphics and fully integrates with the CommScope CRM solution and Single Sign On.

Over 100,000 courses are now enrolled every year, with growth experienced year on year. Wahoo Learning has helped CommScope propel their initial partnerships from 700 to a colossal business driver of over 6,000 global partners.

In addition, over 28,000 (49%) completed full training material.

With the help of Wahoo Learning, CommScope was also able to create a completely self-funded training program that delivers essential knowledge to partners worldwide.
